We are the Batys!

The Baty’s grew up farming and ranching. With this lifestyle there is always something to build, repair and a lot to learn. We have always been fascinated with building, and creating projects but also learning new techniques, efficiencies and methods of making old processes better.  We have had the opportunity to work across North America in the trenches of many different industries. We have many great mentors that we met along the way that have helped us grow and develop our skill set in each trade.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: What do we do about the building permit??

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Autem dolore, alias, numquam enim ab voluptate id quam harum ducimus cupiditate similique quisquam et deserunt, recusandae.

Question 2: How does site preparation work?

We will take care of all site preparation for all projects. This will be included in your bid as a separate line item. If you prefer to do the site preparation yourself or hire it out by another contractor just let us know and we will review the requirements for the site preparation (dirt work, cleaning, grubbing etc.). Note: On some types of projects there will not be any site prep or very little. There is no site prep for welding only projects or for items sold on our website.

Question 3: How do we pay for the project?

You are required to pay a deposit to secure your spot on our schedule. We will have you review and sign our contract that will include all the plans, details, drawings and terms of your project. Every project we build is a “pay as you go”. First a deposit is required, then once the material is delivered we will ask for a draw. The remaining terms and balance will be due at the end of the project. Each project will have its own pay schedule that will be listed on your contract for you.

Question 4: How do I decide how large to build our building?

When deciding what to build and where to put it, or if you have concept questions please let us know. We come from generational farming and ranching  backgrounds, many of our team members (we don't refer to our crew members as “employees” we are family) own horses, and other livestock or have worked in the constitution industry their entire career. We want to help you build exactly what will work for you. Oftentimes that means not building your dream project for a while until you have more funds available. Or building one part of your dream project and then adding onto it later.

Question 5: Do you hire subcontractors?

We self-perform 95% of all the work we do. We use subcontracts less than 5% of the time and usually only for electrical and indoor plumbing. We take a great deal of pride at being a jack of all trades and being highly proficient in each area.  "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." William Shakespeare

TRUST US WITH YOUR NEXT PROJECT!

Baty Builders is founded on 5 Guiding Principles that guide our decision making, and are the core principles of who we are, and hope to become as an organization, and individuals.

The first goal and guiding principle for Baty Builders each day is: Safety. Safety is always first!

From there we focus on building Relationships with the folks (peers and customers) we work with each day and the community that supports us.

Our hope is that if we can daily accomplish our first 2 guiding principles that we will be able to create a company culture that lends frequent opportunity for Personal Progress through continued learning by setting *SMART GOALS and being held accountable by our peers.

We feel that if we can give the best version of ourselves to our family, peers, customers, and community that we will be an organization operating with Purpose and Integrity within our trade.

In a world of wavering moral compasses our focus is to stay committed to our peers, customers and community. As we do that we hope to build a bond of loyalty to each other, that we will be able to serve one another and work together for a long period of time on multiple projects. Repeat business is the best token of customer satisfaction and company appreciation. Our hope is to create and build your project with the intention that you will be able to pass it down to the next generation and it will become part of your family heritage for years to come.
